
Samantha Anderson, Ph.D.
Samantha Anderson is a quantitative methodologist with research interests that broadly center on developing, understanding, and enhancing cumulative knowledge through study design and analysis. She received her PhD in Quantitative Psychology from the University of Notre Dame and is currently an Assistant Professor in the Quantitative Methods program at Arizona State University. Samantha’s research lines focus on sample size planning for original and replication studies, replication study design and methodology, evaluating the consequences of (questionable) research practices, and causal inference and missing data in multi-wave evaluation studies. Samantha is also deeply dedicated to teaching and dissemination and has developed open-source software for conducting sample size planning called Bias Uncertainty Corrected Sample Size, or BUCSS. Samantha is invested in service to the field and currently serves on the editorial boards for Psychological Methods and Advances in Methods and Practices in Psychological Science.
