Mariola Moeyaert, Ph.D.

Mariola Moeyaert obtained her PhD in Educational Statistics in 2014 from the University of Leuven (Belgium) and worked as a Postdoctoral fellow at the Center of Advanced Study in Education at the City University of New York. She joined the faculty of Educational Psychology and Methodology at the University at Albany in the Fall of 2015 where she is currently an Associate Professor. Her major research interests and publications are in the field of multilevel analysis, meta-analysis, and interrupted time series. She has (co)authored approximately 100 international peer-reviewed publications, for instance in Psychological MethodsPsychological BulletinMultivariate Behavior ResearchBehavior Research MethodsBehavior Modification, and the Journal of School Psychology, reporting about developments in educational research methodology and applications of statistical models to educational data. She has also been PI or co-PI on multiple grants from the Institute of Educational Sciences, and serves as Consulting Editor for Psychological Methods, the Journal of Experimental Education, and Education Research Review.
